Years ago, I saw a TV program suggesting a tsunami triggered by an eruption of Santorini may have caused the sea to recede enough to allow the Jews to escape Egypt, and I’ve used this explanation ever since as an interesting application of science to religious history. This new work from CU shows that high winds could have produced phenomena almost exactly as described in the Old Testament.
